StarView Vineyards is owned & operated by Brett & Regina Morrison.
Brett’s journey in the wine industry began in 1998, and he has been dedicated to the craft ever since. His enthusiasm for wine culture sparked an equally strong passion in Regina, who thrives on the vibrant atmosphere of the tasting room. Together, they bring a unique blend of experience and warmth to every bottle produced and every guest who walks through the doors.
Relocating from Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, to the picturesque landscapes of southern Illinois in the summer of 2013 has been an adventure for us. The rolling hills and lush vineyards remind us of the beauty we left behind, yet we’ve embraced the charm of Cobden. We are involved in the local wine community, with Brett formerly serving as the winery liaison for the Shawnee Hills Wine-Grape Association. His dedication has earned him accolades, including the prestigious Viticulturist of the Year award in both 2015 and 2016 from the Illinois Grape Growners & Vintners Alliance (IGGVA). In 2016, he was also honored with the Ted Wichmann Award, recognizing his outstanding contributions to grape growing in the Shawnee Hills AVA.
Regina plays a vital role as well, actively participating on the Executive Board for the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. Her commitment extends to serving as a Board member and Co-Director for the Southern Region of the IGGVA. Together, we’re not just crafting wine; we’re fostering a community that celebrates the joy of viticulture.
Our vineyard is proud to be the eighth winery to have joined the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, which has blossomed into a beloved destination for wine lovers from near and far. With 12 member wineries, the trail offers a variety of unique experiences, and we invite you to explore them all.
