Poles, Pothos & Pinot

March 3 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join us in learning a new gardening skill with Glass Gardens by Stacey!
In this workshop we are learning to build a moss pole from simple materials. Living moss poles are totally different than the ones you can grab at a store. These poles help to keep your plant watered, and actually create a space for your plant to root and grow into its support rather than you just having to tie and stake it! As long as you remember to keep them watered, these are a great thing to use for you climbing plants. The best part, we are using live local mosses and materials that will actually feed your plant.
This class includes all the items you’ll need to craft live moss poles planter. The items we will be using are chicken wire, live and dried moss, coco coir and other organic materials, four foot long garden stake, and zip ties for the Moss pole, this also comes with a Pothos, Philodendron or climbing plant of your choosing, soil and a 12 inch pot to conclude the set up! You get to leave with our own moss pole planter to show to your friends and family!
This workshop is only $65 (plus tax) sign ups will end March 1st so we can ensure we have all the supplies necessary! We will guide you on how to train it to grow on your moss pole as well as basic care!
